She was calm, friendly professional, and very patient with all my questions and requests in the lead up to the big day.
Sarah, I can not thank you enough for all the help given on the wedding day with timings (even when things didn’t go according to plan!) and helping to fix my dress in between shots, putting on my veil and everything else you did which was not unnoticed. Communication from the initial inquiry, right the way through to the pre-wedding photo shoot and on the wedding day , cannot be critiqued. Sarah was phenomenal at our wedding and we have become friends since. She struck the perfect balance between professionalism and personalism. On the big day. Sarah moved seamlessly through the venue to capture the most candid moments of the day. Her photography also happens to be outstanding. I would rate Mint Photography six stars if I could.
We were visiting Sydney from the US and wanted to get a family photo shoot done with just three days on hand. We researched many photographers in Sydney, but decided to go with Mint Photography for two simple reasons, great work and great communication. Their past work is just a sample of the work they produce. What pushed us to choose Mint Photography was how great Sarah was at communication. From the start of the inquiry to the delivery of the pictures, her communication was sublime.
After deciding to go with Mint Photography, we had just one day to decide on the location and outfits for the shoot. Sarah was great at making recommendations on locations as well as the outfits. On the day of the shoot, Sarah was at the location on time and made us feel very comfortable. I, personally, do not find myself comfortable in front of the camera, but Sarah made us feel like she wasn’t there for a shoot. Even our two year old son felt comfortable around her. The result of this was easy to see. Natural and candid expressions! During the shoot, not once did she look at her watch to hurry us through the shoot. We had booked an hour session, but took an hour 40 minutes to finish. She did not push us to finish quickly even as had an outfit change in between. This just speaks to her professionalism.
We got the sample pictures within two days and all pictures delivered in a week of the shoot, as was promised during the shoot. Even with the time difference between US and Australia, Sarah did not drop the ball on keeping a good communication line between us.
Sarah was lovely, made us feel very relaxed and captured our family, the moment and the feeling very well. Photos were ready super quickly and were beautiful. We definitely recommend her.
